UITP 2017 exhibition recap

From the 15th to the 17th of May 2017, CI Tech welcomed its visitors at the world's main urban and regional transport fair in Montréal, Canada.

The center topic of the 62nd UITP edition was the all-inclusive mobility and urban transition within the public transport sector. The rapid growth of cities and agglomerations together with the limited expandability of infrastructure makes it inevitable for operators to use the existing infrastructure more efficiently.

Regarding the ticket vending process this means that operators as well as end customers need a payment solution that accepts and validates banknotes fast without compromises on security and reliability.
Our long term experience as well as our know-how we gained over years within the public transport segment, allows us to meet these market demands and offer with our modular CI Note Line family a customer specific solution.

In a live demonstration at our booth, visitors could experience our various CI Note Line configurations and payment solutions.
The exhibited CI 13-21 as an example, ensures through its dispense cassette that the recycling cassettes are getting refilled automatically with change as soon as the minimum quantity of change is reached. The therefore generated longer cash in transit pick-up cycles enable a longer machine uptime with less service intervals.

We would like to thank you for your visit and are hoping to see you at the next UITP exhibition & congress 2018 in Stockholm, Sweden.
